I recently shot with Gucci for the Intense Oud fragrance, their latest fragrance in the region and thought I’d share it with all of you – as well as more on this beautiful fragrance that really embodies the modern Middle Eastern Woman. A unisex fragrance – it’s a multi-layered scent that is a mix of Incense, wood and leather with notes of Amber Oud accord and Olibanum oil – that can really be traced back to ancient Egypt. The signature heart note is the Ambery Oud accord, a blend of dry woods and smoky resinous notes with the addition of an Ambergris accord to enhance the incense signature. A Leather note reverberates from the base, intensifying the dynamic blend of the fragrance.
The bottle’s design includes the House’s signature motifs as well as the black tall flacon features gold lettering and a gold cap crowned with Gucci’s Horsebit. Perfect for a holiday gift or a gift to yourself.
